In this blog post, I will be sharing six tried and true, truly free and worth your time type of freebies for expecting moms in 2021!
If you are reading this, you may be an expecting mom, so I would like to start by saying Congratulations! Your little bundle of joy will soon be here to fill your heart and home with so much love.
Pregnancy can be such a wonderful time because we get to enjoy many perks like thick silky hair, extra attention, and skipping to the front of the line at the DMV. Haha! But, in all seriousness, we also get plenty of freebies just for being pregnant.

1. Baby Registry
There are plenty of options for a baby registry like, Walmart, Target, buybuy BABY, and more. And if you’re looking for an all-in-one registry, Amazon is an obvious choice.
I found Amazon to be a better option and convenient. Besides they actually send out decent size products not a bunch of samples. To be eligible for your Amazon Welcome Box you will need to follow these steps:
- Create an Amazon Baby Registry
- Complete the recommended checklist
- Join Amazon Prime
- Purchase $10 from your registry
- Claim your free Welcome Box
2. Nightfood Ice Cream
Yes, free Ice cream for your sweet tooth. You can get two free pints of Nightfood at your local grocery store. All I did was click on their website and provide my email address, and they sent me an email right away with instructions on how to redeem. It is pretty straightforward.
3. Instagram
I want to mention that I’ve seen plenty of giveaways on Instagram. By following some of the mom influencers (searching mom influencer/ bloggers), you will quickly find announcements to enter for a chance to win some awesome prizes for your baby or nursery. I will have to admit that I have not won anything yet, but that is how I came across my next freebie.
4. Bare Soles Moccasins
Bare Soles Moccasins are handmade with love and real leather by a wife and mom of two. This small business wants to gift complimentary newborn moccasins to expecting moms as part of their Born in Bare Soles Program.
All you have to do is send them an email (bornin@baresolesmoccs.com) with your due date to access their eligibility form. I paid $5 for shipping (worth every penny) and received my order within 3 weeks. Look at these adorable little moccs.
5. Insurance
I highly encourage you to check with your insurance for maternity programs and benefits available to you. Don’t miss out on some great freebies for expecting moms!
For example, Blue Cross and Blue Shield have a program for expecting moms called Special Beginnings; with a simple call to member services, I enrolled in the program, followed their instructions, and was able to receive a free breast pump, car seat, and two packs of baby diapers.
6. Find Free or Cheap Locally
And last but not least, look no further than your community to save money.
- Local Facebook groups and Facebook Marketplace will connect you to neighbors offering baby stuff and freebies.
- NextDoor is an app that keeps you up to date about things happening in your community, but it is also a great way to check under “Baby & Kids” for free baby items.
- OfferUp is another great app to buy or sell locally with great bargains. I found newborn girl clothes bundles for a fraction of the cost I would have paid at the store.
I also know there are subscription boxes, Diaper Programs, and Infant Formula gifts available. Depending on your preference, you can pick and choose what programs you would like to enroll in to receive plenty of more baby products!
