Happy New Year friend! I hope you are doing well and in good spirits. Let’s talk about how to make our dreams a reality.
It had never occurred to me that I could visualize the future using a vision board until 2020. Last year was a year of personal growth, and I discovered the power of the Law of Attraction, which is the belief that our thoughts can change our life.
So, creating a vision board helped me to visualize the future I want to create for myself. I get way more excited about making a vision board than writing down goals. I mean, I do set goals, but I feel like more things materialize on my vision board (which is also a form of goal setting).
Did you know that 8 things on my vision board came true in 2020? It was a crazy and incredible feeling!
Here is the list of the things that materialized in 2020:
- Apple Mac Computer
- Bookcase
- Free Car Paint
- Family Vacation
- Pregnancy
- Sold house
- Financial Freedom
- Visited one of the seven Ancient Wonders of the World
I don’t share this list to brag; I truly want everyone to know that if this worked for me, it could work for you, too.
The best feeling comes when we move forward and reach our goals.

A vision board does not have to feel like a daunting task; it is actually pretty fun because you get to use pictures and text that represent your goals so you can focus on what matters the most to you.
All you have to do is get a board of any size, I repurposed an old chalkboard, but you can use whatever you have. Tip: Dollar Stores have poster boards for $1. Gather magazines or print images/pictures using a printer; grab your craft supplies like glue, scissors, tape, glitter, ribbon, and stickers. Cut out the images/text and place them on the board. That’s it!
Remember to have fun with this and let your creative juices flow.
With the start of 2021, I highly encourage you to try this for yourself, as a couple, and with your kids. If you make a vision board, please tag me on social media if you decide to share!
Lastly, if you’re wondering how to get more information on the Law of Attraction, I suggest ordering the little book, The Secret Daily Teachings, which is perfect for your work desk or your bedside table where you can see it. I like that each day I can read a new teaching for inspiration.
♥ Blessings!
