BABY NAVARRO coming in May 2021!! We are beyond excited to meet our little bundle of joy and thank God for this wonderful blessing!
When did you find out you were pregnant? August 29, 2020
How did you find out you were pregnant? A week after my missed period because I am like clock-work when it comes to my menstrual cycle. You can see my full reaction to finding out I’m pregnant in this vlog!
Did you have any early pregnancy symptoms before you found out? Yes! I was feeling mild implantation cramping, which feels like period cramps.
How did you tell Ernie you were pregnant? I decided to purchase a pregnancy test and waited for hubby to get home from work to find out together. He was surprised to find out the news; again you can see the real & raw emotions in this vlog.
When did you tell your family and friends? I told my parents and son at 5 weeks because they live with me, and I knew I couldn’t keep it a secret for too long since I was beginning to experience pregnancy symptoms. Then, at 8 weeks pregnant, I told my brothers and sister. And lastly, when the time was right, we told Ernie’s side of the family when I was about 13 weeks pregnant. I had so much fun revealing the good news with them through a game. You can click here to watch.
Do you want a boy or a girl? We both want a little girl, so keeping our fingers crossed!
How are you feeling? In the first trimester, I experienced nausea and tiredness all day. My energy was depleted, and for a good reason, right? After all, I am growing a little human inside. I slowly started to feel better after 13 weeks–thank God! Nausea and food aversions are no fun.
Was this baby planned? Absolutely! We knew we wanted to have a baby, but we didn’t feel the time was right for whatever reason. It wasn’t until last year that we had the thought of having a baby, so we put an image on our vision board to represent our wish… and it came true! I talk more about how this happened in this blog post.

Is this your second child? Yes! My son is currently 17 years old. He thinks I waited too long– I don’t blame him! But, he is beyond thrilled to have a sibling. For Ernie, this will be his first, which makes it easy to get to experience things together because I feel like a new mom!
